Merry Christmas!!!

Christmas Eve is here and suddenly even the busiest person seems to spare some time for his family, shopping and buying gifts for all his loved ones… Christmas carols are being sung everywhere, suddenly it seems life has taken a very beautiful meaning…
Confessing our mistakes, trying to rectify them and asking forgiveness from the great
Lord so we could learn life in a better manner…The wine, the cake, the yummy food, new clothes and goodies and huh! Is that all Christmas about!!!
Surprisingly it is not….

Christmas depicts the birth of Lord Jesus Christ; it marks the dawn of hope and happiness at a time of ignorance and despair… It is the rise of truth and marks the end of ignorance,
Darkness, selfishness and pain…
Christmas reminds of the birth of a person who bore the burden of our sins so that
We could live a better and peaceful life. He cried in pain so we could smile and be happy… It is said that when Christ was about to die the sky was overcast with dark clouds and it seemed like the sun was lost somewhere… The clouds are misunderstood as God’s grief... No it was not His grief it was our sin that Christ was carrying with him..He
Suffered so we could live peacefully… He cried tears of blood so we could sleep happily...
Now after knowing the truth think for a second are we doing justice to one man who lived with us, preached for our betterment and sacrificed His life carrying our burden so we could live happily… Do we pay any heed to his preaching…? No here we are killing our own brothers for money.. Fighting, screaming and hating one another… Abandoning
Our own parents when they need us the most.. All we can think about is how I can become the wealthiest person in the universe… Jesus’ preaching seems long way gone.. But no, we definitely mutter some words in the morning not knowing what it means thinking about the work that is to be done the following day…
Christmas is not just about Santa and gifts and goodies... It is about spreading the message of love of a person who was born like us, lived like us and died for us... No doubt he finally reached the Kingdom Of God… No doubt he was called the Son of the Lord...
It is very easy to be a true human and a true Christian just follow the religion of humanity
And spread the Gospel of Love...
